At Junior Speakers, we believe in the power of words to inspire, persuade, and transform. Founded by a passionate high school student and accomplished speech captain, our mission is to ignite a love for public speaking in children and empower them with the skills they need to express themselves confidently and effectively.
Junior Speakers was established by Ava DiNapoli, a dedicated high school student with a profound love for public speaking. Ava’s journey began in elementary school, where she discovered her talent for speaking on stage through theatre and eventually enrolling in speech and debate courses at the age of 10. Her dedication and skill in public speaking led her to win numerous tournaments in the district and state level. She has also won a $2,500 college scholarship through a national oratorical contest.
Ava’s achievements are a testament to the transformative power of public speaking. Her experience has not only shaped her personal and academic life but has also instilled in her a deep desire to share this incredible journey with others, especially young minds.
Our Mission
At Junior Speakers, we aim to:
Cultivate Confidence: We help children build self-esteem and confidence through public speaking. Our programs are designed to make kids comfortable with speaking in front of an audience, enabling them to express their ideas clearly and confidently.
Develop Communication Skills: Effective communication is a vital life skill. We teach kids the fundamentals of speech writing, delivery, and non-verbal communication to enhance their overall communication abilities.
Inspire Leadership: Public speaking is a cornerstone of leadership. By encouraging kids to speak up and share their ideas, we inspire them to take on leadership roles in their schools and communities.
